Eaton County has successfully convened a wide variety of stakeholders from around the county with 20 active and voting members and 33 participating non-voting members.
Become an active, voting member of our county’s substance abuse prevention coalition. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 9:30 - 11:30 am at the Eaton Intermediate School District Building, 1790 E. Packard Hwy, Charlotte, MI 48813
Our Successes!
- Recipient of the Drug Free Community Grant from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy
- Support numerous, ongoing youth substance abuse prevention activities and trainings county-wide
- Develop comprehensive data reports that detail substance abuse trends among youth
- Awarded an Eaton County United Way grant to implement the Signs of Suicide program in Eaton County middle schools
- Promote and help plan Prescription Medication Disposal events throughout the county
